Studying abroad is easily one of the best decisions I have made in the first two decades of my lifetime. When I entered USC as a wide-eyed freshman, I had no idea that I would ever have the courage to leave my comfort zone and travel hundreds of miles away to England. Despite my general shyness, I have always wanted to explore other cultures and places. When the opportunity arose for me to travel to Warwick University for the fall semester of my Junior year to study history and psychology, I knew I had to take it. The time between being accepted into the program, and boarding the plane to head to Coventry, England flew by. Before I knew it, I was leaving the United States behind for the first time. When I arrived at the University of Warwick I felt like I was in a dream. Being there was everything I imagined it to be, yet simultaneously nothing like I imagined it to be.

It was a dream.

The campus was beautiful, the people became friends that turned into family, and the places were each charming and memorable in their own way.while abroad I traveled all over the United Kingdom and parts of Europe. I explored Coventry, Leammington Spa, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, London, Birmingham, edinburgh, the Scottish Highlands, & Paris, France. The memories I made in each of these places, the people I met, and the experiences I had will stay with me forever. Above & Below are some of the highlights from this trip. I hope they help to paint a better picture than my words could ever hope to do.

xx Darcy
